🚨WINTER SPORTS BANQUET🚨 The winter sports banquet (boys and girls JV/Varsity basketball) will be held on Wednesday April 12 at 6:30pm in the Brimley High School cafeteria. Cookies, punch and coffee will be served.

Yesterday the students had the amazing opportunity to see and participate in the school powwow. Thank you to all the students that helped, the veterans that came, the dancers who participated, and everyone that help make this a great event.

Today, 20 high school students got to celebrate PI Day (technically yesterday) by competing against several regional schools in various math games and puzzles. Fun was had by all as we tested our wits doing algebra, geometry, and trigonometry problems, as well as reciting the digits of pie (winner had memorized over 225 digits). Congrats to our participation.

Today, students in grades 6-12 got to visit our regional health fair. Booths and presentations were set up by our county health department, as well as many other regional healthcare agencies. Students got to play games and do activities, all the while learning about a variety of issues focused on their physical, social, and mental well-being. Huge thanks to Mrs Sally Demolen for organizing and setting up this healthcare. Big thanks to all the agencies and presenters who took time out of their day to speak with our students as well.

🚨🚨DISTRICT CHAMPS🚨🚨 Congratulations to our Brimley Girls Basketball team for winning the District Championship last night in Engadine 51-39 They now move on to Regional Semi-Finals vs. (23-1) Mackinaw City on Tuesday 3/7. The game will be held at Sault High starting at 7:00. The MHSAA requires all tickets to be purchased through gofan.co. No cash will be accepted at the door. Reminder that BRIMLEY Boys and Girls Club will be cancelled Friday, March 3rd. The Bay Mills Club will remain open.

🚨🚨THIS JUST IN🚨🚨 Girls Basketball District 101 has been announced. Our Brimley Girls Varsity will play @ RUDYARD on Wednesday 3/1/23 at 6:00 p.m.. Winner moves on to the District Championship. GO BLUE!!!

Congratulations to Ms. Rachael Brzezniak and the Brimley High School and Middle School bands on their performances at Festival yesterday in Sault Ste. Marie. The High School scored a 1 overall (best score) and the MS showed lots of hard work and improvement with their 3 overall. Great work ladies and gents on your performances!

🚨🚨alert🚨🚨 Newberry cancelled on us at 3:45 pm for tonight. Our Jv team will still play the Sault Freshman team. The varsity team will now play Ojibwe Charter School who was gracious enough to step in for our parents night.
