We have CONFIRMED our plans to play at Little Caesars Arena in DETROIT!!!
Thursday December 21st 2023, our BOYS and GIRLS varsity basketball teams will play Newberry High School at LCA!!!!!
We were the FIRST Upper Peninsula team to play at Little Caesars Arena last year, and now, it will be the first time two U.P. schools compete there.

Girls will play at 12:00pm, Boys will follow. Then we will attend the Detroit Pistons vs. the Utah Jazz at 7:00 p.m. If you went to the boys game last year, you know how cool this event is for our kids!!!!

JV GAME scheduled for Friday 9/22 is now a scrimmage on Tuesday 9/19 at 6:00p.m at HOME.
VARSITY GAME scheduled for Friday 9/15 @ Superior Central will now be on Saturday 9/16 @ 12:00pm. Varsity only.
🚨🚨 JV FOOTBALL game at Newberry on Friday 8/25 will start at 5:00 pm. Varsity will immediately follow.

WE WILL HAVE A JR HIGH TACKLE FOOTBALL TEAM!!
Practice starts Monday August 21 @ 5 pm. Please meet at the MS boys locker room door., By the football field entrance.
Practices will be Monday-Friday 5:00pm-7:00pm until school begins.
practice and game schedules will be handed out at the first practice..
All players must have a physical before beginning practice...no exceptions. Physical forms are located under the school nurse tab on the Brimley Area Schools website....most Drs also have the form. Please bring the physical form to the first practice.
Players must have cleats and a mouth guard for their first practice. Equipment will be handed out at a later date.

Our Open House is scheduled for Tuesday, August 29th, from 4:00 to 6:00pm. The open house will be for all students Kindergarten - Seniors.
Hot Dogs and refreshments will be served.
CTE, Dual Enrolled, and Early College Students please arrive at 3:30pm for a short meeting in the cafeteria.

Summer is rolling along and fall sports are a week away!!!
JV and VARSITY Football, Volleyball and Cross Country will begin on August 7th. Practice and game Schedules for those sports are on the school website.
All athletes participating in athletics MUST have a MHSAA physical form on file prior to beginning. These can be found on our website under >Information > S > School Nurse
6th -8th grade boys and girls that are running cross country will also start on Monday August 7th.
Jr High (grades 6-8) full Contact Football will start on August 21. Times to be announced soon.
Jr high volleyball practice (7 & 8) will start on Monday 8/21. Time to be announced soon.

🚨We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a sports physical clinic day at Brimley Area Schools on Monday August 7th from 8:00 am - 3:30 pm. > Call (906) 248-5527 to schedule an appointment ( Walk-ins will not be accepted) > Consent form and the MHSAA sports physical form must be completed prior to your appointment and signed by a parent/guardian. There will be an informational meeting with Coach Bob Cameron on Monday July 10th at 6:00pm in the HS gym
He will be going over summer scrimmages and 7v7's, as well as season information
Both school and gym lockers have been cleared out. The amount of clothes, shoes, sporting equipment, and other materials we've gathered is IMMENSE. If you or your student thinks they have left any materials behind, please come to the high school office to claim it (both elementary and secondary items are on the high school end). There is literally thousands of dollars worth of items.
A HUGE thanks to the Bay Mills Indian community for offering to wash and fold all of our lost and found clothing. We greatly appreciate the time and effort!
The Brimley Volleyball Program is hosting a "Volley Kid" Skills Day Camp for youth entering Grades 4th - 6th on Friday, June 30th from 10am - 4pm at the Karl Parker Memorial Gymnasium in Brimley Schools. Register early to pay an early registration fee of $20 per youth. Late registration or same day drop in's will be $30 each.
Youth will have the opportunity to be introduced to the game, participate in skill building, drills, and even play a scrimmage at the end of the day! Lunch will also be served.
